It was been a difficult few months. Now is the time to focus our energy on reinvigorating our businesses, our industry, and our communities. Atlanta Summer Market 2020 will shift back one month and now be held August 13-18, 2020.

America’s Mart will not be hosting Temporary tradeshow presentations at this summer’s market. You can read their release below:

“After much consideration and based on recent developments related to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have decided to suspend temporary tradeshow presentations at the upcoming Atlanta Market. Permanent showrooms will remain open during the previously-scheduled Atlanta Market – August 13-18, 2020.
During these unprecedented times, with the acceleration of COVID-19 cases and travel restrictions in many states, we must adapt our model to responsibly address the current needs of the industries we serve. With our permanent showroom environment (more like a retail environment than an event), we are better able to manage building and showroom density and avoid gatherings larger than state mandates would allow. An open tradeshow floor format makes this much more difficult, and we do not feel we can safely offer that type of presentation at this time.
Participating tenants and buyers are highly encouraged to set appointments to allow for social distancing and more effective traffic density and showroom capacity management.
As COVID-19 continues to disrupt our industry and economy, we will continue to adapt as needed to provide safe solutions for our customers this summer. We recognize that some customers will feel comfortable in this setting and some will not. We are prepared to provide excellent service to all of our showroom tenants and their buyers that elect to conduct business on our campuses productively and responsibly, and we are committed to enabling commerce wherever, whenever and however. Our physical markets and our current and developing digital platforms and software together will be essential elements of recovery for our industry
To facilitate a safer environment, pre-registration is required for all IMC markets this summer. IMC has developed detailed and thorough cross-department protocols for buyer and tenant arrival, registration and departure. Temperature screening, contactless registration and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are among required components of IMC’s Together Safely reopening and daily operation protocols.”
